We Be Goblins is a Sanctioned Module for Pathfinder Society (PFS) Organized Play!

This module has pre-generated characters, so you cannot bring your existing PFS character to play, but you can apply the rewards to any level 1-2 PFS character!

I'm new to all this, what's that mean?

In Pathfinder Society Organized Play, you play a member of the Pathfinder Society, seeking fortune and glory all over the face of Golarion. Pathfinder Society Organized Play is a constantly evolving mega-campaign played by thousands of players and the adventures you experience are shared by players around the world.

Each game is reported to paizo by the Game Master, and as characters adventure, gain experience, and acquire treasure, they can move on to other PFS-sanctioned events. You can play your same character at PFS events here in Minneapolis, then at DragonCon, or at PaizoCon, or wherever official PFS games are played. (However, as this specific module uses pre-generated goblin characters, you cannot play your existing character, but you still get rewards for playing!)

Sounds good, how do I sign up?

If you don't yet have a paizo.com account, you will need to create one. It's quick, easy, and free. Just visit https://secure.paizo.com/paizo/account and click the "Create New Account" button on the right. Once finished, your paizo.com account will grant you access to the messageboards, PDF downloads, and other Paizo things.

Now that you have an account, visit http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety and click the "Join the Pathfinder Society!" link on the right-hand side.

I'm already a Pathfinder, what do I need to do?

I just need your full Pathfinder ID number (XXXXX-X), your character name, and character faction. If you complete the module, you will get a Chronicle sheet that you can apply to your level 1-2 character.

Ok, I'm a Pathfinder, and I want to read about PFS and rules and things.

Download and read the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play (PFRPG) PDF. You will need to log in with your paizo.com account in order to download it. (But it's free!)

There's also the Pathfinder Society Field Guide, which isn't free, but is a good resource for anyone committed to playing PFS. (You do not need this to enjoy We Be Goblins!)

I'm not interested in PFS, what about me?

No problem, PFS will not have any impact on the game. You can still come play and (hopefully) have fun.

I thought I wasn't interested, but now that we're about to start, I've changed my mind! What can I do?

You can sign up for PFS at the event! I'll have PFS ID cards on hand, so you can arrive, play the game, and go home with your ID card and Chronicle sheet. Then, when you have time, you can register at paizo.com and create your account.
